Lexicon
AI, in plain words
Many AI conversations go sideways because people use the same words to mean different things. An AI lexicon gives everyone a shared starting point. Use ours as is, or make it your own.

About
Why Red Finch exists
I led AI product at a healthcare technology company of about 3,500 people and $2 billion in revenue, and our push to become AI-first kept stalling. With a big budget, we brought in top consultants. Most weren't current on where AI actually is, and the ones who were had never built it, so all they could offer was theory and research we could do ourselves. Red Finch exists to be the partner I couldn't find: someone who is building with AI right now, hands-on.
I've lived both speeds of AI. Inside the enterprise, I waited months for a basic ChatGPT connector to get approved, watched people fear AI would cost them their jobs, and felt board pressure to use AI with no clear reason why. But I've also taken a brand-new product from idea to finished app in three weeks on my own, and helped a small, committed team inside a company go from a loose idea to a working application in a week.
Red Finch is based in Pittsburgh and fully independent. Alongside client work, I build my own products, including The Crate, a music ranking and concert discovery app, and LampLit, a way to help people connect more in person.
