Interface
The way a person interacts with an AI system: free text, document and image upload, audio, buttons and forms, in a chat window, terminal or IDE.
A component of the harness. More isn't always better: a customer-facing chatbot may deliberately offer only fixed options with no free text. Rich features like generated forms and artifacts are hard for in-house builds to keep up with, which is part of the reason to buy a harness rather than build one.
