Full-stack builder
A person who uses AI tools to take a product from idea to launch alone, doing the work of a product manager, a designer and an engineer.
LinkedIn made this a formal title in late 2025 and opened it to people from any function. Elsewhere, the word builder is mostly a label product managers use when they build working software with coding agents instead of handing specs to engineers. It overlaps with product engineer, which reaches the same scope from the engineering side. It matters because it signals that some companies now plan teams around one person per product idea instead of three specialists.
